Champion Possibility: A Team Iron Will Virtual Event

October 28th @  6:30 PM Central Time

Join us for an inspirational evening that celebrates courage, resilience, and the power of possibility. On October 28 at 7:00 p.m. CST, Team Iron Will is hosting a live virtual update sharing how we’re transforming a culture that too often overlooks and undervalues individuals with Down syndrome—and how your partnership is helping families across the nation discover strength, purpose, and belonging. You’ll hear Will’s story, receive a mission update on what we’ve already accomplished, discover our bold new plans for 2026, and see how together we can champion possibility for every person with Down syndrome.

Finding Calm in the Chaos: Recognizing and Responding to Caregiver Stress

November 4th @ 10 AM Central Time

If you’re a parent who’s spent too much time in hospital rooms, waiting on test results, or juggling therapies and appointments, you know how hard it can be to ever feel “normal” again. This session is a conversation between parents — not another lecture.

Elizabeth will share what she’s learned about medical trauma and why many of us stay in a constant state of alert, even long after the crisis passes. She’ll help you understand what’s happening in your body when you feel on edge or shut down, and she’ll teach a simple activity you can start using right away to help your nervous system come back to safety.

You’ll walk away with:

  • Language for what you’re feeling and why
  • A new way to notice when your body is stuck in “survival mode”
  • A small, practical tool to help you respond instead of react when things get hard
